Lille and Monaco interested in Algeria international Fares Ghedjemis

Fares Ghedjemis (23) impressed in Serie B last season, scoring 15 goals and registering three assists as he helped Frosinone earn promotion to Serie A. His performances also earned him a place in Algeria’s 2026 FIFA World Cup squad and he would now be set for a summer transfer, as per a report from L’Équipe.

Ghedjemis has led his club back into the top-flight of Italian football, but he is not expected to remain. Clubs competing at the top of the Italian football pyramid are interested in the dynamic winger. Napoli and Juventus have both shortlisted the Algerian, however, a return to France is also on the cards for the winger, who, as a prospect, played for the likes of ESTAC Troyes, Le Havre AC, Évreux, Vannes, and Rouen.

Lille OSC and AS Monaco are interested in Ghedjemis. The latter see him as a potential replacement for Maghnes Akliouche, strongly linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain. The Algerian is valued between €10-15m.
