Official: Real Madrid star wins Nations League award

Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham has early this week secured for himself an award on the international front. This comes amid confirmation that the 23-year-old has been named Nations League Player of the Round.

Midfielder Bellingham is fresh off nothing short of a spectacular latest performance in the colours of England.

Keeping alive a stellar recent stretch of individual form, the former Borussia Dortmund man proved himself the star of the show in a 7-0 Three Lions rout.

After laying on Harry Kane’s opener early on, Bellingham then turned goalscorer himself a short time later. And he was far from done there, notching another pair of assists to take his tally for the fixture to four direct goal contributions.

This excellence culminated in Bellingham being named on the shortlist for Nations League Player of the Round earlier this week.

And as alluded to above, on Monday, the all-action midfielder has officially beaten out the competition to secure the award:
