Barcelona trio put through individualised training sessions ahead of Getafe

Three leading members of the first-team ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona were kept separate from the core group in training on Monday morning.

This comes amid caution surrounding the respective injury recoveries of all of Frenkie de Jong, Joan García, and Raphinha.

Midfielder De Jong is currently entering the final phase of his comeback from a long-term knee injury. Still not considered well enough for contact drills, though, the Dutchman trained inside the facilities at the Ciutat Esportiva today.

This also proved the case for Joan García, who, despite having taken major strides forward in his recovery from a knee problem of his own, suffered prior to the international break, is still not working on the grass.

And last up comes Raphinha, who was forced into a premature departure from national team duty with Brazil last week. The 29-year-old is not considered to be injured, but maximum caution is being taken with a bout of muscular discomfort.

Further developments are expected over the coming days, but it is goalkeeper Joan who currently looks the favourite of this trio to feature from the off against Getafe this weekend.
