Manchester United, Aston Villa, and Tottenham have all received a boost in pursuit of Martin Baturina following Mirwan Suwarso’s comments.

As quoted by Calciomercato, Mirwan Suwarso has signalled Como’s willingness to sell Martin Baturina this summer if an offer meets the club’s valuation, with Manchester United, Aston Villa, and Tottenham Hotspur all monitoring the Croatian playmaker after his outstanding debut campaign in Serie A.

Baturina joined Como from Dinamo Zagreb last summer in a deal worth just under €20 million, but his value has skyrocketed following an exceptional first season in Italy.

The 23-year-old established himself as one of Cesc Fabregas’s most influential players, helping Como secure an impressive fourth-place finish while contributing six goals and three assists in 29 Serie A appearances (12 G/A in 34 outings in all competitions).

The Croat’s credentials were further enhanced by his performance at the World Cup, where he scored once in four matches, strengthening his standing as one of Europe’s brightest attacking midfielders.

His rapid rise has attracted attention from several Premier League heavyweights. Manchester United, Aston Villa and Tottenham are all monitoring the midfielder, with English reports suggesting a fee in the region of €80 million could test Como’s resolve.

Despite the growing interest, Como are not actively pushing Baturina towards the exit. However, club president Mirwan Suwarso said Como would evaluate any suitable proposal via Calciomercato.

“If there’s an offer, we’ll listen. If we like it, we’ll accept, but we’re not afraid to refuse. Last summer, we rejected a €60 million offer for Assane Diao—I can’t say from whom. And in the winter, another €40 million for Jayden Addai.”

Premier League trio can sign Baturina this summer

The statement highlights Como’s confidence in their negotiating position after investing heavily in the squad over the past year. Each of Baturina’s Premier League admirers has a clear sporting reason for pursuing him.

Manchester United reportedly view him as a long-term successor to club captain Bruno Fernandes, with the Croatian international possessing the creativity and technical quality to eventually inherit the Portuguese playmaker’s role.

Tottenham, meanwhile, see him as another creative weapon for Roberto De Zerbi’s squad, capable of providing competition and cover for James Maddison in the No. 10 role, especially with Xavi Simons expected to feature out wide on several occasions next season.

Aston Villa also remain attentive after Harvey Elliott returned to his parent club, with Unai Emery looking for another technically gifted midfielder capable of linking midfield and attack.

For now, no formal offers have arrived. Suwarso’s willingness to listen means the right bid could unlock one of Serie A’s newest stars for the Premier League. Apart from his massive potential, his ability to feature anywhere in attack is one of the major reasons why every top club out there wants to sign him.
