Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher opines on Arsenal’s approach in the ongoing transfer window.

Jamie Carragher has slammed Arsenal’s summer transfer approach, saying the Premier League champions have lost the decisiveness that helped them win last season. The Liverpool legend believes Mikel Arteta’s side are spending too much time identifying targets without turning their interest into completed deals, despite being linked with several high-profile names throughout the summer.

“I’m starting to believe that after Arsenal won the league, they’ve gone back to their old habit of identifying players without actually signing them,” Carragher said via .

“Is that how champions behave? I thought winning the league would make Arsenal even more ruthless in the transfer market. In this case, I’m just not seeing that champion mentality when it comes to getting deals over the line.”
