Marseille eye Fulham’s Samuel Amissah ahead of summer transfer window
Olympique de Marseille have reportedly made enquiries about Fulham’s Samuel Amissah (19) ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window, according to The Telegraph.
However, OM appear not to be the only club monitoring the young centre-back, whose contract with the Cottagers expires next June. Ajax, Juventus, Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea are also said to have set their sights on the England Under-19 international.
Not yet having made his professional debut for the London club, Amissah made his first appearance on the Fulham bench in December 2024, during an away match at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium (1-1).
A key member of the under-21 team, he was a regular starter in all 20 matches he played for Fulham. If the transfer to OM goes through, it would be reminiscent of that of CJ Egan-Riley (23), who arrived on a free transfer last summer. Having played 14 times this season (682 minutes), the Englishman scored his first goal in France in the Coupe de France against Bayeux (0-9).
