Official: Barcelona & Real Madrid stars included in Carlo Ancelotti’s Brazil squad
Star attackers from Spanish football’s two leading clubs have been included in the latest squad called upon by Carlo Ancelotti for the Brazilian national team.
After something of a campaign to forget at this summer’s World Cup, Brazil are primed to return to action later this month.
The South American heavyweights have been pencilled in for a trio of friendly fixtures, the first two against Australia, and the last against India in early October.
Carlo Ancelotti and his staff will make use of this schedule to begin something of an overhaul in the Seleção’s ranks with a view to the next World Cup in the summer of 2030.
Several of La Liga’s leading attackers, though, have nevertheless maintained their respective places in the Brazilian setup. As confirmed on Wednesday, from Barcelona, the in-form Raphinha has been afforded a call-up.
From the first-team ranks at his former employers Real Madrid, meanwhile, Ancelotti has called upon both Vinícius Jr, and Endrick.
