Juventus hoping to sign Martin Odegaard from Arsenal

Martin Odegaard has been linked with a move away from Arsenal at the end of the season.

The 27-year-old playmaker has not been at his best this season, and it will be interesting to see if Arsenal is willing to sanction his departure. According to Fichajes, the player will cost €95 million, and Juventus are interested in securing his signature. It would be extremely unlikely for the Italian club to be able to afford that kind of money for him.

It remains to be seen how the situation develops. He has been an important player for Arsenal since joining the club, and they need to keep players like him. However, he has not been at his best, and it remains to be seen whether he can regain his form and confidence.

Juventus are one of the biggest clubs in Italy, and the opportunity to play for them could be exciting. If Arsenal is willing to get rid of the player, he will have to seriously consider a move in the summer. He has the physicality and technical attributes for Italian football, and the move to Juventus might not be a bad idea for him.

However, Arsenal will have to reduce the asking price in order for the move to go through. It seems unlikely that the Italian outfit will be able to pay €95 million for him. There is no doubt that he’s a quality player, and he would improve Juventus immediately. However, the asking price could be a massive problem.

Arsenal should keep Odegaard

Meanwhile, Arsenal need more creativity in the final third, and selling their captain might not make much sense. It remains to be seen what they decide. The 27-year-old has been an important player for them, and he could be very useful if he manages to recapture his form and confidence.

Instead of selling him at the end of the season, Arsenal should look to help him bounce back strongly. Having said that, the midfielder will be desperate for regular game time. If Arsenal cannot provide him with that, he will be tempted to move on.
