Liverpool, Manchester United vying for Pierre Kalulu
Liverpool and Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing 25-year-old French international Pierre Kalulu from Serie A club Juventus in the summer transfer window.
According to a report by Italian outlet Gazzetta dello Sport, Liverpool and Manchester United are keen on signing Pierre Kalulu. The two Premier League giants are eager to bolster their defensive units in the summer transfer window. So, the 25-year-old Juventus defender has emerged as a target for them.
The report has suggested that the Frenchman has enjoyed a “record-breaking season” with the Serie A giants, which has not gone unnoticed. So, Liverpool and Manchester United will “try to tempt Juventus” to sell Kalulu in the summer transfer window.
Pierre Kalulu has made significant progress since joining Juventus from AC Milan. Born in Lyon, the 25-year-old spent his formative years in France and graduated from the youth division at Olympique Lyonnais. The player rose in prominence during his spell with Les Gones, which earned him a move to AC Milan in September 2020.
However, Kalulu endured a topsy-turvy ride at AC Milan, and he has resurrected his fortunes during his spell with Juventus. The French defender has made nearly 100 appearances for the Bianconeri thus far while chipping in with three goals and seven assists. Meanwhile, the player’s progress has not gone unnoticed, capturing the attention of several well-known clubs. Liverpool and Manchester United are among the prospective suitors vying for his signature.
Manchester United’s interest in Pierre Kalulu is understandable.
