Chelsea, Manchester City, Real Madrid vying for Julian Hall

Chelsea, Manchester City and Real Madrid are all keen to explore a move for New York Red Bulls teenager Julian Hall in the summer.

According to Sports Boom, MLS prodigy Julian Hall, who plays for New York Red Bulls, is emerging as a big target for some of the high-profile European sides. Manchester City and Chelsea are keen on the teenager from the Premier League, while Real Madrid views him as a big prospect for the future.

Julian Hall is attracting plenty of attention following his rise at New York Red Bulls, with some recent displays particularly catching the eye of observers from some of the big clubs in Europe. The likes of Manchester City, Chelsea and Real Madrid are credited with an interest, with the MLS side likely to be open to negotiating a fair price for their attacking prodigy.

At the tender age of 17, Hall has already amassed 40 top-flight appearances, and this term, he has three goals in two games. The striker has played in the top flight before, but the impact he has had in those two games has been immense.

New York Red Bulls are seemingly open to discussing a fee with suitors, with the report suggesting it could be in the €15–20 million mark. The MLS side would prefer for Hall to take his next steps within one of the franchise clubs, as Salzburg or Leipzig are options, but they might be open to big offers coming from the more ‘elite’ suitors in Europe.

Real Madrid are one of those interested, with the Spanish giants already showing great ambition in bringing some promising young stars from around the world. Their recent acquisitions of Endrick and Franco Mastantuono are big signs of their objectives for the future, as they might look to lure the €15–20 million-rated American prodigy to the Santiago Bernabéu.

Julian Hall to the Premier League?

As a move to Real Madrid always proves tempting to any young player, the prospect of joining either Manchester City or Chelsea could also be viewed as a big step. The €15–20 million-rated American prodigy could view Pep Guardiola’s side as an attractive proposition, given how proficient Manchester City have been in developing young players through their system.

Chelsea, on the other hand, have continued their aggressive transfer policy of bringing in young talent. The idea of playing in the first team sooner at Stamford Bridge could swing the pursuit in favour of the Londoners, with the owners also known to pay the right value when necessary.
