Inter set to keep Manchester United away from Federico Dimarco

Inter are moving decisively to secure the long-term future of Federico Dimarco, effectively shutting the door on interest from Manchester United.

According to L’Interista, the Red Devils have shown concrete interest in the Italian international, even reportedly sending scouts to observe him during the recent Derby d’Italia. However, the Nerazzurri management remains entirely unconcerned by the Premier League lure. The relationship between the club and Dimarco is described as excellent, built on mutual trust and a shared desire to continue their journey together.

The possibility of a new contract is rising rapidly, with a definitive agreement expected soon. The plan is to tie Dimarco to the club until 2030, a move that would represent a lifetime commitment for the boyhood Inter fan.

As part of the renewal, the wing-back is set to receive a significant wage upgrade, with his salary expected to rise from the current €4.5m to €5.5m per season. This improved package, combined with his deep-rooted loyalty to the colors, is considered more than enough to keep Manchester United at bay and solidify his status as a cornerstone of the Inter project.
