Arsenal response to Bukayo Saka agreement revealed

Arsenal’s ownership and hierarchy are delighted to have secured Bukayo Saka’s long-term future with a lucrative new deal.

With Bukayo Saka’s current contract running out in just over a year’s time, there has been a lot of talk about his future. Arsenal were working very hard behind the scenes to ensure they could secure the long-term future of one of their most important players, and it seems he has agreed to a massive new deal.

According to a report from TEAMtalk, the North London club’s ownership and senior hierarchy are glad that they have managed to finalise a new long-term deal for the English international. They believe this new deal for their number 7 cements their position among the best clubs in world football.

Saka has been a part of the Arsenal setup since 2008. He went up the ranks at some pace and has been a part of their first team since 2019. He has only gone from strength to strength since and is now widely regarded as one of the best wingers in the world.

He has featured in 297 matches for the North London club and has contributed towards 156 goals. In the ongoing campaign, he has 15 goal contributions in 34 outings as the Gunners push to end their wait for the Premier League title.

Saka’s new deal finalised

While he remains one of their most important players on the pitch, his contract situation has been their biggest concern off it. They had already reached an agreement in principle with the 24-year-old towards the end of last year and have now finalised the deal.

Saka is all set to pen a new five-year deal that will be worth around £300,000 per week, making him the highest-paid player at the North London club. Following the confirmation of the new deal, the atmosphere at the club has been buzzing as they celebrate tying down Saka as well as William Saliba.

Sporting director Andrea Berta has played a massive part in helping the club secure the long-term future of two of their best players, and he is earning widespread praise for his work. Having lost some of their best players to rival clubs in the past, Arsenal are over the moon this time around. This is seen as a statement of intent from the Gunners.
