AS Monaco will welcome Ansu Fati back to the fold when they host FC Nantes at the Stade Louis II on Friday night. 

Fati has missed Monaco’s last two games with a minor calf injury, however, the Barcelona loanee trained with his teammates normally this week. He is in contention to start against Nantes. 

There remains a long list of absentees for the Principality club. Lukas Hradecky, Eric Dier, Kassoum Ouattara, Mohammed Salisu, Takumi Minamino, Paul Pogba, and Christian Mawissa are all out. The latter is very close to a return but the club are being prudent, given the defender’s injury history.

Against a side fighting for their survival, Les Monégasques may change shape and switch away from a back three, L’Équipe understands.
