Official | Jacen Russell-Rowe joins Toulouse
Toulouse FC have confirmed the signing of Canadian international striker Jacen Russell-Rowe (23) from MLS side Columbus Crew, for a fee reported to be a little over €2m.
The versatile striker will strengthen a Téfécé that are set to lose Noah Edjouma to Lille OSC this window.
Russell-Rowe came through the youth ranks at Toronto FC before moving to the United States to join the University of Maryland team, the Terrapins.
After moving to Columbus Crew, a scoring rate of more than a goal a game for the reserves earned him the 2022 MLS Next Pro MVP award and a promotion to the first team, where he featured as the club won the 2023 MLS Cup. In total, Russell-Rowe scored 18 goals in 87 MLS and MLS Playoff matches for the Crew.
His club performances were awarded with international recognition and Russell-Rowe has made to date won eight full Canadian caps, scoring his first goal for The Reds in a friendly last month against Guatemala. Russell-Rowe will wear the number 13 shirt for Toulouse.
