Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal are ‘serious contenders’ to sign Ayyoub Bouaddi (18) from Lille during the summer transfer window, according to a report from Foot Mercato. The Ligue 1 champions want to bolster their midfield options and believe the French youth international would be a good addition to Luis Enrique’s squad. 

As things stand, Lille are preparing for a bidding war amid extensive interest in the teenager’s services despite him signing a new contract in recent weeks. The 18-year-old has impressed since making his professional debut for Les Dogues, and several clubs across Europe have taken notice of his performances in the middle of the pitch. 

Arsenal or PSG for Bouaddi? 

The French midfielder will not be short of options when the summer transfer window opens. However, the Premier League leaders and Les Parisiens seem to be at the front of the queue for his services. No club has yet made a formal approach to Lille or Bouaddi regarding a potential transfer.
