Strasbourg’s Félix Lemarechal set to join Club Brugge

RC Strasbourg Alsace’s Félix Lemarechal is set to join Club Brugge, according to a report from Sacha Tavolieri.

Lemarechal has been in and out of the team at Strasbourg this season, however, the AS Monaco academy product is now on the verge of a departure from the French league. The midfielder, who previously spent a period on loan at Monaco’s satellite club, Cercle Brugge, is set to return to the Belgian capital, this time joining Club Brugge.

The move, Tavolieri understands, will be permanent. Strasbourg are expected to earn between €6-7m as part of the deal, allowing the Ligue 1 club to make a slender profit on the player signed from the Principality club two summers ago. Lemarechal is expected to sign a deal that will run until the summer of 2029.

L’Équipe adds that he is not the only midfielder expected to leave Le Racing this month, with Rabby Nzingoula also nearing a departure.
