Monaco’s Jordan Teze subject of bids

AS Monaco’s Jordan Teze (26) is the subject of bids from other clubs, according to a report from Nice-Matin.

Earlier this month, Monaco CEO Thiago Scuro said that the club needed to sell a player before July in order to avoid potential UEFA sanctions. “But the priority is to protect performance,” added Scuro at a press conference attended by Get French Football News.

Maghnes Akliouche is an obvious candidate to depart, given his transfer value and a long list of suitors, but Teze is the one being linked with a move away. The Dutchman has played 24 games for the Principality club this season, and his versatility has seen him play both at full-back and in midfield. He has netted two goals in the UEFA Champions League, including during Tuesday’s 6-1 defeat to Real Madrid.

Nice-Matin understands that several offers have arrived on Scuro’s desk. It remains to be seen Monaco’s stance on an exit.
