Copenhagen in talks to sign Amir Richardson amid Brest interest
FC Copenhagen are in talks to sign Fiorentina’s Amir Richardson (23) amid interest from Ligue 1 club Stade Brestois, according to a report from Le Parisien.
The Moroccan was the subject of interest from OGC Nice earlier in the window. Richardson is from Nice and came through Le Gym’s academy. As their interest in bringing him back to the club grew, he publicly expressed a desire to make the move.
Richardson expected to make swift choice
However, Nice’s interest cooled. He is still expected to leave Fiorentina this month, and his next destination could be Denmark. Le Parisien understands that there are ongoing talks surrounding a loan deal that would include the option to make the move permanent for €8m.
However, Copenhagen are not the only interested party. Brest are also in contact with the former Stade de Reims midfielder. A decision on his future is expected to be made quickly, Le Parisien add.
