Strasbourg and Lyon compete to sign PSG’s Noham Kamara
Noham Kamara (18) is expected to leave Paris Saint-Germain this month. Two of Ligue 1’s top clubs are competing for his signature, L’Équipe understands.
Kamara has been in and around the first-team set-up all season, however, he has yet to get any minutes in Ligue 1, unlike last season, when he featured twice. He is therefore expected to depart. There are already talks ongoing with Olympique Lyonnais, as per a report from L’Équipe.
OL, still constrained financially, are discussing a loan with an option to buy. PSG would like to include a buy-back clause in any potential deal. However, Lyon are not the only interested party. RC Strasbourg Alsace have a strategy of hoovering up young talent and they too have made an enquiry for the young defender. They are looking to convince him of their long-term project.
Kamara’s current contract with the reigning European champions runs until the summer of 2028.
