Thiago Silva offered to Chelsea, Crystal Palace, West Ham United, Fulham

Chelsea, Crystal Palace, West Ham United and Fulham have been offered the chance to sign veteran Brazilian centre-back Thiago Silva.

Thiago Silva’s future has become an interesting talking point as the Brazilian centre-back is set to leave Fluminense at the end of the year. While he is parting ways with his childhood club, he has no plans to retire just yet.

The former PSG star is looking to secure a return to Europe, and according to Ekrem Konur, Chelsea, Crystal Palace, West Ham United and Fulham have all been offered his services.

After a four-year-long stint at Chelsea, Silva returned to the Brazilian club in the summer of 2024. The 41-year-old has been one of their standout performers over the last 18 months. Despite his age, he has managed to maintain a consistent level of performance.

With his contract at Fluminense running out, he has decided to leave the club and is now looking to secure a return to Europe. While his representatives are in talks with clubs from across Europe, Silva seems keen on securing a return to England and preferably London, where his family resides.

London clubs alerted about Silva’s availability

As a result, Crystal Palace, Chelsea, Fulham and West Ham have all been informed about his availability. While none of the clubs have put forward an offer yet, they are in talks via intermediaries to sign the 41-year-old.

Given the kind of success he had at Chelsea last time, they could seriously consider bringing him back, as he could not only help them cope with the defensive injuries but also guide the younger generation. Meanwhile, clubs like Palace, Fulham and West Ham would absolutely love to have someone with his experience in their camp.

The veteran centre-back is open to a short-term deal, but he demands regular first-team action as he eyes a spot in Brazil’s squad for the World Cup next summer. It will be interesting to see if any of the four London clubs make a move for him with the winter transfer window fast approaching.
