AS Monaco are looking to put an end to a torrid run of form. The Principality club have lost all of their last three games in the league and the nature of the 2-2 draw against Pafos in midweek felt more like a defeat. The pressure is on and time may already be of the essence. Whilst Sébastien Pocognoli sought to remind journalists that the “season is yet long”, the gap to the top three is already cause for concern, and he is already talking about the need to “close the gap”. If they are to get a result, Monaco need to be more clinical, but they will be buoyed by the way that PSG conceded three goals against Tottenham Hotspur in midweek. There could be frailties to exploit, even if Les Parisiens will be the strong favourites for this encounter.
