West Ham United will only sanction Niclas Fullkrug exit for permanent deal or loan-to-buy arrangement
West Ham United attacker Niclas Fullkrug has been linked with a move away from the club in recent weeks.
The German International has not been able to live up to the expectations at the London club and he needs to move on. He will be hoping to play regularly and West Ham will not be able to provide him with that platform.
According to Florian Plettenberg, West Ham have no problems letting the player leave the club, but they will only allow him to move on if it is a permanent deal or a loan-to-buy agreement. West Ham do not want the player back at the club at the end of the season. They are looking to ship him out completely.

It will be interesting to see if the German can find a suitable destination for himself. He has shown his quality in the Bundesliga in the past and there is no doubt that he could be a very useful acquisition for the right team.
Fullkrug exit ideal for all parties
The Premier League side paid £27 million for him and they expected him to establish himself as an important player for the team. He has not been able to adapt to English football and he has struggled with injury problems as well. It is clear that staying at the London club will not benefit him. He needs to play more often at this stage of his career and a fresh start could help him regain his form and confidence. Fullkrug should look to move on when the transfer window re-opens in January.
Meanwhile, West Ham should look to sign a quality striker in January as well. They are currently fighting for their survival in the Premier League. They cannot hope to survive in the top flight without being able to score goals consistently. They should look to get rid of their fringe players in January and bring in quality alternatives. Keeping the German striker at the club does not make any sense. They should look to replace him with someone who can find the back of the net.
