According to a report from Football Insider, they are exploring three ways to sign the £27 million striker.

Werder Bremen could decide to loan him, sign him on loan with an option to buy, or sign him permanently straight away. It will be interesting to see what they decide.

It would be ideal for the striker to move on. He needs a fresh start, and leaving the London club would be ideal for him.

Meanwhile, the Hammers will need to bring in a quality striker as well. They have struggled to find the back of the net consistently, and signing a reliable striker could make a huge difference for them. They finished in the bottom half of the league table last season, and they are currently fighting relegation. They need to improve the team in order to finish in an acceptable position. It remains to be seen whether they can find a proper alternative to Füllkrug.

The German has previously shown his quality in the Bundesliga, and there is no doubt that he has the ability to do well for Bremen.

Joining the right team might bring out the best in him. He is still very much at the peak of his career, and he will look to get back to his best. At West Ham, he has not been able to win the trust of the manager or adapt to English football properly. It would be ideal for him to take on a new challenge now.

It will be interesting to see if West Ham can get rid of the player permanently and bring in a quality alternative. It could prove to be defining for them in the context of their survival.
