La Liga champions Barcelona have on Monday confirmed their plans to return to the Spotify Camp Nou.

This comes amid confirmation that the Blaugrana’s long-awaited return home is set to come this weekend, against Athletic Club.

As much was announced by way of a statement on the part of the Barca brass across social media this afternoon:

‘We’ve dreamed about the return. Now, it’s here. We’re back home. Back at Spotify Camp Nou’

Barcelona have of course not taken to the Camp Nou pitch in a competitive setting since all the way back in 2023.

This comes after a whole host of delays and setbacks were encountered amid the Catalans’ efforts to bring their ground in line with some of world football’s very best.

Now back to within three points of La Liga leaders Real Madrid, and with their injury woes finally easing, though, Hansi Flick’s squad will be hopeful of using their Camp Nou comeback as fuel to kick on in search of their dazzling best form.
