Mouzakitis has come up the ranks at Olympiacos. He went up the ranks at some pace and has been a part of their first team since the summer of 2024. The 18-year-old midfield sensation has already featured in 49 matches for the senior side and has even contributed towards eight goals.
While he prefers playing as a central midfielder, the teenager is capable enough to feature in any role. His consistent performances have helped him cement his spot in the Greek national team.
Premier League giants want to sign Mouzakitis
On the back of his impressive rise and massive potential, clubs from across Europe are after his signature. Napoli, AC Milan and Brighton are keen on his signature, but according to Konur, Arsenal, Aston Villa, and Manchester United are leading the race to sign him.
Mikel Arteta seeks more depth in the centre of the park and considers Mouzakitis a great investment for the long run. Meanwhile, Aston Villa want more competition in midfield, and Unai Emery would certainly love to work with the teenager, who can feature in multiple roles.
As far as United are concerned, Ruben Amorim is looking to add more quality in midfield, with Casemiro and Kobbie Mainoo’s future uncertain. They feel Mouzakitis could help their cause, and he could become one of their mainstays in the long run.
With his contract running until the summer of 2029, Olympiacos are in complete control of his future. The Greek club are well aware of the increasing interest in his services, and have placed a €30 million price tag on him. Given his massive potential, the English clubs might not think twice before meeting their demands.
