Aston Villa and Tottenham have suffered a massive blow in their pursuit of Brentford attacking sensation Kevin Schade.

Kevin Schade’s impressive performances for Brentford have not gone unnoticed. Multiple top clubs from across Europe are keen on his signature. Rivals Aston Villa and Tottenham are also interested in signing the German international, and they have been monitoring him of late.

However, according to Graeme Bailey via TBR Football, the Bees have no intentions of negotiating his departure anytime soon. He is an integral part of their project, and having lost some of their best players last summer, Brentford are set to block Schade’s exit.

The 23-year-old came up the ranks at SC Freiburg. After making a name for himself while playing for their first team, he joined Brentford at the start of 2023. While it was an initial loan deal, the move was made permanent in the following summer.

Kevin Schade has gone from strength to strength over the years and has established himself as a key part of their squad. The German international has been in fine form in recent weeks, and his performances have put him on the radar of some of the biggest clubs in Europe.

Premier League rivals are after Schade

In England, Tottenham and Aston Villa are two clubs that have been closely monitoring the 23-year-old. Thomas Frank, who brought Kevin Schade to the Gtech Community Stadium back in the day, remains a massive admirer of the young winger and now wants to sign him at Spurs.

With the North London club seeking more quality on the flanks, they are ready to raid Brentford. Meanwhile, Aston Villa are also looking for more options in the final third. With Jadon Sancho struggling to fire, Unai Emery wants to strengthen the flanks by signing someone like Schade.

Kevin Schade is not for sale

While there is no shortage of interest in him, the German international is unlikely to leave the Bees in the upcoming transfer window.

While talking about his future, Bailey said, “Schade is really looking the part now, and Brentford are aware of potential suitors taking an interest. However, I am told from Brentford sources that they will not entertain his exit come January, indeed the same goes for others in the squad too, including Igor Thiago and Nathan Collins.”

Having lost Yoane Wissa, Bryan Mbeumo, and Thomas Frank last summer, the Bees are now reluctant to lose any more important members. They have made it clear to potential suitors that Schade is not for sale.
