Chelsea are set to accelerate their pursuit of Joiaquin Panichelli, although they do ot seem to be in a rush to get a deal in place.
According to Fichajes, Chelsea are set to push forward with a deal for Jiaquin Panichelli, although they are not in a rush to bring the exciting Argentine talent. The Forward has been in a good vein of form since the new season began, as the Blues will hope to use their excellent relationship with Strasbourg to get a deal in place.
Chelsea have had several dealings with Strasbourg over the last few years, considering both clubs are under the same ownership umbrella. The presence of a common ownership group does allow the two sides to get certain things that favours each other, as a potential deal for Joaquin Panichelli could be next on their agenda.
In reality, Chelsea have managed to use Strasbourg as a platform to develop some of their young talents, and even do business to buy some of their stars. There were a few deals between these clubs over the summer, and it appears Panichelli could be the next big transaction.
Chelsea are interested in Panichelli as a future option for their attack, with the in-form 23-year-old Ligue 1 striker scoring 10 times already this season. He has shown there’s plenty of development left in him, and there’s potential to become one of the notable attackers around Europe.
AC Milan are also interested in the in-form 23-year-old Ligue 1 striker, but they may not have the favourable response from Strasbourg like Chelsea will. Hence, the Blues are in a big position to get a deal in place, albeit for the future, as the French side would want the Argentine to continue with them at least until the end of the current campaign.
Chelsea are in no rush to seal Joaquin Panichelli’s move
Chelsea recently watched Panichelli in action, which has since opened the possibility of a potential move to Stamford Bridge. However, the club are not in a rush to bring the 23-year-old forward to the club, as they are willing to see to it that the forward develops further at Strasbourg.
However, that does not rule out the possibility of a pre-agreement of sorts between the two clubs for the striker. Chelsea would likely get such a deal in place to make sure the Argentine does not have a change of heart amid other interest from elsewhere, and that he moves to Stamford Bridge at some stage in the future.
