Juventus set for key meeting with Luciano Spalletti on Tuesday
Juventus are moving aggressively in their search for a new manager following the sacking of Igor Tudor, with Luciano Spalletti firmly established as their primary target.
Transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio reports that the Bianconeri hierarchy has already held intensive talks with the former Italy and Napoli coach over the last few hours. The discussions are moving toward a crucial stage, with a key meeting scheduled for tomorrow (Tuesday).
The club is working against a self-imposed deadline: Juventus wants to finalize the appointment of a new first-team coach by Saturday at the latest. The acceleration of talks with Spalletti indicates that the club views him as the ideal candidate to immediately step in and reverse the team’s current crisis.
The appointment needs to be secured rapidly as caretaker manager Massimiliano Brambilla is unlikely to lead the team for the midweek fixture against Udinese.
Spalletti has opened up to the possibility of managing Juve, who have offered a contract until June 2026 with an automatic renewal if the club reaches the Champions League. The Italian is interested in a deal like this, so far.
