Two Barcelona player ruled out of Olympiacos clash due to injury
Barcelona are back in Champions League action on Tuesday as they host Olympiacos at the Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys, but they will do so without a number of important players. The likes of Joan Garcia, Gavi, Dani Olmo and Robert Lewandowski are already ruled out, and two more stars will almost certainly not be involved.
In recent weeks, Barcelona have been without the services of Raphinha, who suffered a hamstring injury during last month’s victory at Real Oviedo. It had been hoped that the Brazil international would have returned by now, but he is still waiting to receive the medical green light.
Barcelona had hoped it would come before the Olympiacos match, but that will almost certainly not be the case. As per Sport, Raphinha has still yet to return to group training, having missed Tuesday’s session to continue with individual work.

But he is not the only Barcelona player to do so, as the report also confirmed that Ferran Torres – who is suffering with a similar injury – is also expected to miss the Olympiacos clash. He is also yet to return to group training, which means that he is unlikely to be risked by Flick for Tuesday’s match.
It was believed that Ferran’s absence against Girona was more precautionary than anything, but it appears that this is no longer the case. A return for El Clasico is no longer guaranteed, which would be a massive blow for Barcelona, given that Lewandowski is already ruled out.

What attacking options do Barcelona have vs Olympiacos?
The expected absences of Raphinha and Ferran mean that Barcelona have few attacking options for the match against Olympiacos. Lamine Yamal should be okay after playing 60 minutes against Girona, and the same can be said for Fermin Lopez after his second half cameo. Roony Bardghji will be pushing for a start too, while Marcus Rashford is the last senior player that Flick will be able to count on, although he could continue with Ronald Araujo as a makeshift striker.
