Juventus want Axel Disasi to replace Gleison Bremer

Juventus could make a move for unwanted Chelsea defender Axel Disasi on loan in January as they seek cover for the injured Gleison Bremer.

According to Juve-Live, Axel Disasi is a player that Juventus could target in the January window as a cover for injured defender Gleison Bremer. The latter suffered a new problem of late, which will keep him out for some time, with the Chelsea outcast being linked with a move to Turin.

Gleison Bremer missed most of last season with an ACL injury, and his timely return at the start of the new campaign has been a blessing for Juventus. The Brazilian is considered the most important centre-back at the club, and Igor Tudor’s side have been impressive with him in the side.

However, the defender has suffered another injury, and following surgery to his meniscus, the Brazilian will be out for at least two months. The bigger concern is his full recovery, which could see Tudor manage his load once he returns, which could force Juventus into the market in search of a cover.

Axel Disasi is the name mentioned in the report, with the exit-linked key star not wanted at Chelsea at the moment. The French defender was expected to leave the Blues back in the summer, but is now part of the infamous ‘bomb squad’ at Cobham.

Disasi was expected to stay until at least January following the lack of interest in the summer, but he could soo have some offers on the table as some teams might seek a new defensive signing. Much like last January, when Juventus got hold of then-Chelsea man Renato Veiga, they are once again ready to explore a move for another unwanted star at Stamford Bridge.

Axel Disasi to Juventus?

Disasi also had the interest of Borussia Dortmund, but given the links with Juventus, he could sense the Turin giants could offer him regular minutes. The exit-linked key star from Chelsea will be a good addition to the Serie A giants as they could use him to manage Bremer’s minutes in the second half of the season.

Disasi may not have the impact that Gleison would otherwise have at the back, but the 27-year-old Frenchman has plenty of experience at the top level. Chelsea might be reportedly open to a loan deal with a buy option or obligation, something Juventus might be open to exploring.
