Nottingham Forest contact Roberto Mancini and Luciano Spalletti
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Nottingham Forest have made contact with Roberto Mancini and Luciano Spalletti as part of their search for a new manager. The Premier League side are exploring high-profile options, but Sean Dyche is currently considered the leading candidate to take over.
Di Marzio reports that Forest have reached out to both Mancini and Spalletti to assess their availability and interest in returning to club management. Mancini, who most recently managed Saudi Arabia, has been approached before by English clubs, while Spalletti — former Italy head coach — is unlikely to leave.
Despite the ambitious contacts, Dyche remains the frontrunner for the position. Forest are expected to make a decision soon, with the club determined to appoint an experienced manager capable of stabilising their Premier League campaign after Ange Postecoglou’s sacking.
