OGC Nice suffer another injury setback, but optimism regarding Moise Bombito
Franck Haise has had to deal with his fair of injury problems since he arrived on the bench at OGC Nice. The club were mired in an injury crisis for almost the entirety of his first campaign, and this season has started on the same footing.
Terem Moffi is the latest to suffer an injury. The Nigerian only just arrived back from international duty and in his first session back, on Thursday morning, he suffered a calf injury that Haise believes will rule the forward out for “several weeks”. It means that Kevin Carlos will likely lead the line for Le Gym against Olympique Lyonnais on Saturday, and beyond.
However, there was better news regarding Moise Bombito. The Canada international has successfully undergone surgery on his tibia fracture, which he suffered in the derby-day draw against AS Monaco. It had been feared that his season may be over, however, his return date has been set for “four to five months” by Haise.
