Inter’s Yann Bisseck considering January exit ahead of World Cup
SkySport Deutschland has revived rumours today that Yann Aurel Bisseck could leave Inter as early as January.
According to the German media, the 24-year-old Nerazzurri defender doesn’t want to miss the 2026 World Cup and needs to play more consistently in order to earn his place within Die Mannschaft’s ranks.
So far this season, Inter boss Christian Chivu has given him just 157 minutes of game time. Sky report that Bisseck is seriously considering leaving Milan in the next transfer window, and the club itself are already in the process of establishing initial discussions with potential buyers.
Bisseck, who joined from Danish side AGF Aarhus in the summer of 2023, has a contract with Inter until 2029. So far in his international career, he has made just one appearance for Julian Nagelsmann’s German side, ironically appearing off the bench against Italy in March this year.
Ahead of his debut in the Nations League, the 6 ft 5 defender proudly explained at the time: “It’s a great honour for me to be here. It wasn’t an easy path but I’m happy that I made it and that I didn’t give up, continuing to work on myself.”
