Chelsea will demand in excess of £115 million for Moises Caicedo to ward off Real Madrid

Chelsea will demand more than £115 million to even consider selling Moises Caicedo amid emerging interest in the midfielder.

According to Football Insider, Chelsea are eager to price out suitors away from Moises Caicedo by demanding a top draw price for the midfielder. The Blues will reportedly demand in excess of £115 million for the Ecuadorian international, who has become an integral part of the London outfit.

Moises Caicedo is probably Chelsea’s most important player and continues to prove that the 115 million they invested was the right decision. The Ecuadorian put in another masterclass in the recent victory over Premier League champions Liverpool before the international break, and made his mark as one of the league’s leading midfielders.

Chelsea have done well to tie him down to a longer-term deal, which currently lasts until 2031 with an option of an additional year. Such an agreement gives the Blues immense power in negotiations should a few teams come in with approaches for the 23-year-old key star.

As it stands, PSG are reportedly interested in Caicedo as a key signing in the future, while Real Madrid are already keeping tabs on him. The latter is understood to be keen on landing a big-name midfielder next summer amid links to Rodri as well as fellow Chelsea star Enzo Fernandez.

Real Madrid have already cast doubts on Chelsea’s demands for Fernandez, and this stance could repeat once they know Caicedo’s asking price. The Spanish giants, as well as PSG, are among the teams capable of paying big for key targets, although in the case of the Ecuadorian, Chelsea are likely to dictate the terms of any deal.

Chelsea name Moises Caicedo price

Chelsea will demand in excess of £115 million for Caicedo if the time comes to sell the midfielder, especially since Real Madrid and PSG are showing an interest. In reality, the Blues have no interest in selling the 23-year-old key star, as the asking price is clearly designed to ward off suitors.

Chelsea had been keen to offer him a new deal, as things are not yet advanced in that regard. Caicedo’s stance on his future will also be key in determining whether the likes of Real Madrid and PSG have a chance to sign him, although, for now, the Blues have all the power in deciding the 23-year-old’s immediate and long-term future.
