Chelsea need to pay €100 million to sign Kenan Yildiz

Chelsea might have to shell out an eye-watering nine-figure price to secure the signing of key target Kenan Yildiz from Juventus.

According to Fichajes, Chelsea are interested in Kenan Yildiz, and know that signing the Turkish international will not be a straightforward task. Juventus are reportedly demanding at least €100 million for the 20-year-old attacking sensation, something the Blues are currently not opposing, as per the story.

Kenan Yildiz has made a significant mark on proceedings over at Juventus since he arrived from Bayern Munich. A versatile attacker by trade, the Turkish international can play in different roles in and around the central striker, as he has been productive so far for the Bianconeri.

Yildiz has 28 goal involvements for Juventus in 86 official appearances, while he is constantly growing in stature at the Serie A club. At the moment, he is an indispensable player for the Italian giants, while a long-term contract lasting until 2029 does give them significant leeway if they were to negotiate a sale with a suitor.

Back in the summer, there was sufficient interest from big clubs in the Premier League, although Juventus had indicated their willingness to keep Kenan Yildiz earlier in the window. Yet, the interest persisted until the latter stages of the market, with Arsenal and Chelsea reportedly attempting to sign him.

Manchester City were also keen, although it is Chelsea who are probably pushing in the background to get ahead of the competition for the 20-year-old Turkish international. Juventus are in a much stronger position if they were to negotiate a deal with the Blues, with the report stating an eye-watering nine-figure asking price for the young attacking sensation.

Kenan Yildiz’s price tag is not an issue for Chelsea

Chelsea might have to pay at least €100 million to even make Juventus consider selling Yildiz. The Blues are intent on keeping building their young project with some of the best talents out there, with the Turkish international certainly a player that fits the bill.

Even though Juventus are asking for an eye-watering nine-figure asking price of around €100 million or more, Chelsea may show positive signs towards obliging the request. The Blues are not afraid to pay big for the right player, and in Yildiz’s case, he could be a central figure of their project moving forward.
