Official | FC Metz sign Fado Ballo-Touré
Fado Ballo-Touré (28) has joined FC Metz on a free transfer. The defender spent the second half of last season at Le Havre AC.
Former AC Milan and AS Monaco defender Ballo-Touré made 10 appearances over the course of his six-month stint in the Normand region. During that spell, he contributed to Les Ciel et Marines retaining their place in Ligue 1. He was one of several players to arrive on short-term deals before then departing upon the expiry of their deals.
On the lookout for a new club throughout the summer, Ballo-Touré has now landed at Metz, following the closure of the transfer window. The left-back has signed a deal with Les Grenats that runs until the end of the season. There is a clause that would allow his deal to be extended by a further year.
After three games in Ligue 1, Metz are the only side yet to register their first point.
