Official | Brighton midfielder Matt O’Riley joins Marseille on loan
Olympique de Marseille have completed the signing of Matt O’Riley (24) on a season-long loan from Brighton & Hove Albion. The deal does not include an option to buy.
The Danish international midfielder has featured twice in the Premier League for Brighton this season but will now spend the rest of the campaign in France under Roberto De Zerbi. O’Riley arrives to bolster OM’s midfield options following the departure of Adrien Rabiot, with the club eager to strengthen before the transfer deadline after suffering their second defeat in three Ligue 1 matches against Lyon on Sunday.
