Barcelona star Raphinha has this week sent a message the way of Brazil national team head coach Carlo Ancelotti, regarding his playing time.

This comes after the 29-year-old was called up to his country’s latest squad for the November international break.

Raphinha is for his part not long back from a spell on the sidelines, owing to an injury suffered whilst on duty with Brazil back in September.

His inclusion in the Seleção’s latest call therefore raised eyebrows, with many of a Barcelona persuasion having been quick to make their frustration with Carlo Ancelotti known.

Speaking during an appearance in front of the media on Thursday, Raphinha therefore made use of the opportunity to ease the concerns of his side’s supporters:

“If Ancelotti wants to count on me, he knows he has to manage my minutes. He knows what he needs to do as a coach, and we’ve spoken about it.

“Barça fans should not worry; we will manage it well.”
