Barcelona star Raphinha has on Thursday received a string of congratulatory messages on social media. This of course comes on an altogether significant day for the Brazilian.

Fresh off a spectacular opening to the new campaign, Raphinha was today officially rewarded by the Camp Nou brass.

Now acting as captain and starting centre-forward in Hansi Flick’s squad, the former Leeds United man was handed a new contract, all the way through the summer of 2030.

Raphinha will in turn spend the prime years of his career lining out in the colours of Barcelona.

And as alluded to above, across the day to date, the 29-year-old has been congratulated for his new-and-improved deal by a whole host of sources.

From Hansi Flick’s Blaugrana squad, the likes of Dani Olmo and Fermín López have sent social media messages to their captain and leader.

Elsewhere, meanwhile, Manchester United pair Matheus Cunha and Bruno Fernandes have also revealed their delight for Raphinha on Instagram (via BarcaTimes on ‘X’):
