Supporters of La Liga giants Real Madrid have taken to social media on Wednesday, to reiterate their frustrations with Blancos star Vinícius Jr.

José Mourinho’s troops are of course currently locked in action on the continent, in a Champions League meeting with Greek outfit AEK Athens.

Amid his ongoing domestic suspension, the aforementioned Vinícius Jr. was restored to the visitors’ XI for the evening, slotting in on the left flank.

Many of a Real Madrid persuasion, however, have been left unhappy with the contributions of the Brazilian, criticising his exploits on and off the ball alike.

Not only that, but Vinícius’ return to starting duties has forced the in-form Yan Diomandé to the right flank, a position in which the 19-year-old looks considerably less potent.

Some, in turn, have gone as far as to state outright that their side’s big-name winger simply ‘ruins’ the balance in José Mourinho’s star-studded frontline.
