German heavyweights Bayern Munich could be forced to make do without the services of as many as seven players for their upcoming meeting Atlético Madrid.

This comes amid an update on the personnel crisis in Vincent Kompany’s squad at present.

Bayern are fresh off a 2-2 Der Klassiker draw with Bundesliga title rivals Borussia Dortmund over the weekend, an outing which saw the injury problems in the club’s first-team ranks continue to worsen.

All of Ismael Saibari, Serge Gnabry and Michael Olise limped out of proceedings at the Allianz Arena.

The former pair have since been ruled out against Atlético Madrid on Tuesday, alongside the trio of Jamal Musiala, Luis Díaz and youngster Bara Sapoko Ndiaye.

Olise, on the other hand, has been included in the travelling party bound for Spain, as has the returning Manuel Neuer. According to Spanish outlet Marca, though:

‘Despite travelling, Neuer and Olise remain doubtful, and it won’t be known until tomorrow whether they will start.’
