2 Barcelona, 1 Real Madrid: Updated Pichichi standings
Leading members of the attacking ranks at both Barcelona and Real Madrid continued to add to their respective tallies amid the early-season race for the Pichichi prize this weekend.
Extending his advantage back to four goals was Barca frontman Raphinha, who found the net twice en route to the Blaugrana’s 6-1 drubbing of Deportivo Alavés.
Also on target to the tune of a brace at the Spotify Camp Nou on Saturday was Lamine Yamal. The 19-year-old hit double digits for goals this league campaign in the process.
This was followed on Sunday by Real Madrid hitman Kylian Mbappé notching his latest goal from the penalty spot, against Racing Santander. The Frenchman, the two-time reigning Pichichi holder, in turn hit the 12-goal mark for the La Liga season.
The La Liga top scorer standings after gameweek 11 therefore stand as follows:
