Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick has admitted that he is in agreement with midfield star Rodri, regarding the needs of the Blaugrana’s squad when in difficult situations on the pitch.

Barcelona are of course fresh off an altogether disappointing last week on the results front. After rattling off 11 consecutive victories to open the campaign, the Blaugrana were condemned to back-to-back defeats at the hands of Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid.

The latter proved to be particularly concerning, as Los Blancos, for lengthy stretches at the Camp Nou, looked in full control of proceedings.

Speaking to the media post-match, Barcelona summer signing Rodri was therefore quick to send some advice the way of his new teammates, urging for more ‘calmness’ when in pressure moments.

And drawn on the comments of his engine room general during his latest appearance in front of the media on Friday, Hansi Flick was in full agreement:

“Rodri is right, sometimes we need to play with a bit more calmness.”
