Real Madrid set sights on another Bayern Munich star
The transfer team at La Liga giants Real Madrid have earmarked a member of the midfield ranks at German champions Bayern Munich as a potential target for next summer.
This comes amid the understanding that Los Blancos have had their attentions piqued by the talents of Aleksandar Pavlović.
Pavlović, for his part, is a 22-year-old midfielder, who has long been considered something of a star in the making in Bavaria. The early weeks of the new season have seen the German’s prominence continue to grow, en route to starts in all six of Bayern’s fixtures between the Bundesliga and Champions League.
Pavlović is already a regular on the international stage, too, having racked up 17 caps for Germany, hailed for his abilities on and off the ball alike.
And this glowing reputation, it would appear, is considered well-earned by those in a position of power at the aforementioned Real Madrid.
As per a report from Fichajes, citing German outlet Fussball News, amid an ongoing search for reinforcements in the middle of the park with a view to the 2027/28 campaign:
‘Aleksandar Pavlović is on Real Madrid’s shortlist of midfield options.’
It is also noted that Bayern, as things stand, have little intention of entertaining bids for their engine room starlet, with Champions League holders Paris Saint-Germain also closely monitoring the situation.
