Mahamadou Sangaré (19) has left Manchester City, just over one year after joining the club from Paris Saint-Germain. The French forward has signed with Saudi Pro League side Al-Qadsiah, without having made a first-team appearance for the Cityzens.

The striker made the choice to join the Premier League side over the possibility of signing a first professional contract at formative club Paris Saint-Germain. In his debut season at Manchester City, he failed to make a first-team appearance. However, for the academy side, he did make 30 appearances, scoring 15 goals, including a hat-trick in a UEFA Youth League game against AS Monaco.

A return to Ligue 1 had been touted for the Frenchman. A loan deal, rather than a permanent transfer, was expected. However, he has instead moved to the Middle East and on a permanent deal. He has left Manchester City for an undisclosed fee, signing a three-year deal with Al-Qadsiah.
