PSG eye Maghnes Akliouche, as English clubs might also try to sign him

Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly keeping a close eye on the situation regarding Maghnes Akliouche (24), whilst Premier League clubs may also be tempted to sign him, according to Foot Mercato.

Already linked with Les Rouge et Bleu last summer, who appreciate his versatility and consider him a good fit for their project, the Frenchman seems ready to take his career to the next level. A regular in AS Monaco’s first team since October 2021, Akliouche has established himself as one of the best players in the French league.

Having started 36 of his 39 appearances since the start of the season, the attacking midfielder has now scored seven goals and provided nine assists in all competitions. At 24, and with what is likely to be his first World Cup on the horizon, the time now seems ripe for the Tremblay-en-France native to spread his wings.

Under contract with Monaco until June 2028, a potential transfer is estimated to be worth around €50 million, according to data from the specialist website Transfermarkt.
