An explanation for the absence of Vinícius Jr. from group training at La Liga giants Real Madrid on Friday morning has been forthcoming online.

This comes amid confirmation that the Brazilian was tending to commercial matters away from the pitch.

Real Madrid are of course currently in the midst of final preparations for a return to action on the domestic front this weekend. Fresh off a midweek downing of AEK Athens, Los Blancos will make the trip to Mestalla to lock horns with Valencia on Saturday.

The aforementioned Vinícius Jr. will play no part in the matchup, ahead of sitting out the final game of his four-match La Liga ban.

And as alluded to above, owing to as much, the winger was on Friday afforded the day off from training at Valdebebas. As per a report from journalist Mario Cortegana of The Athletic:

‘Vinicius is not training because he’s in Dubai as part of a Real Madrid commercial deal that requires him to make an annual visit.

‘It’s been decided that this is the best time due to the suspension, plus this makes it easier for him to join Brazil during the international break because of distance issues.’
