Le Mans’ Adil Bourabaa sustains injury
Adil Bourabaa (21) has enjoyed an explosive start to the season, culminating in a maiden call-up to the Algeria national team, however, he now looks set for a period on the sidelines, as per a report from Foot Mercato.
The Algerian already has three goals in Ligue 1, as well as two assists. He has helped his club, Le Mans FC, defy expectations in the opening weeks of the season. Patrick Videira’s side were heavily tipped for relegation, but currently sit ninth.
Bourabaa is a big reason why, however, while away with the Algeria national team, he sustained an ankle injury. It is a blow that will rule him out of this Saturday’s game against Paris Saint-Germain. The midfielder will undergo further tests on the injury today in order to ascertain his period of absence. The expectation, however, is that that the former ESTAC Troyes midfielder will miss several weeks of competition.
