Toulouse submit offer for Sunderland’s Romaine Mundle
Toulouse FC have seen an initial approach for Romaine Mundle (23) rejected by Sunderland, as per a report from Foot Mercato.
Mundle, signed by Standard Liège back in 2024, played a marginal role for Régis Le Bris’ side this season. In all competitions, the versatile winger played 16 times for the first-team, failing to register a goal contribution.
The Englishman’s current deal with the Black Cats runs until 2028, but he is not likely to renew.
Toulouse, who could yet lose Yan Gboho this summer, are showing interest in Mundle and, as per Foot Mercato, have submitted an opening bid. That offer has been rejected, although they are expected to return with a second offer this week.
However, they could face competition from RC Strasbourg Alsace. The BlueCo-owned club have made an enquiry.
