Tottenham face Inter Milan, Juventus battle in Noah Atubolu race

Noah Atubolu is attracting considerable interest from Italian giants Juventus and Inter Milan, while Tottenham are also in the mix.

Noah Atubolu is one of the names under consideration for many clubs ahead of the summer who seek a new goalkeeper in their ranks. As per Fussballdaten, Tottenhama is one of the clubs interested in the Freiburg keeper, while Italian giants Inter Milan and Juventus are ready to make their interest known.

Noah Atubolu, the Freiburg No.1, is one of the keepers high on the list of some of the top clubs from around. The stopper has been the mainstay at the club since Mark Flekken’s departure, and now he has amassed nearly 118 appearances for the club across all competitions.

Atubolu demonstrates the traits of a modern keeper, something many top teams require in the current moment. Tottenham are reportedly interested in the keeper, as they are planning for an upgrade on Guglielmo Vicario, who has significant interest from Serie A.

Spurs were also linked with Juventus’ Michele Di Gregorio, but a glaring concern for them is their ongoing relegation battle, which may dissuade Atubolu from making the switch. The 23-year-old Bundesliga goalkeeper also has the attention of Juventus and Inter Milan.

Juventus have recently played around with the Di Gregorio, which could signal a need for a new No.1  ahead of the summer. The same could be said about Inter Milan, who are interested in upgrading over Yann Sommer, and Vicario seems like their top target.

Noah Atobulu to Serie A?

The Serie A might be an attractive proposition for Atubolu, who may view the move to one of the Italian giants as a good destination. He could be Juventus or Inter Milan’s new No.1 heading into the new season, but the same could be said about Tottenham should they stay up in the Premier League.

Freiburg reportedly wants in the region of €30 million, with his market value currently in the region of €20 million. Clubs could have a good enough reason to negotiate, given that the 23-year-old Bundesliga goalkeeper will enter the final year of his deal at the German side, which will make him one of the in-demand keepers in the market.
